  • I’ve had a blast. I really have. I’ve gotten reports and people have listened from all over the world. Memphis Weirdos has been listened to in Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia. However, this is ending soon because Memphis Weirdos is expanding. The new focus of Memphis Weirdos will be centered on Memphis and the regions dark history, supernatural and unexplained. Will there still be music? Of course! But truthfully, there are so many great avenues to find music in Memphis.
Memphis Weirdos will continue its relationship with WRMI. However, the broadcasts are moving to :30 minutes a week, targeted to North America. I don’t know what days or the frequency yet, but I will send an update when I find out. Anyway, that’s it! I can’t thank my longtime listeners enough and hope that you’ll make the journey with me. I sincerely appreciate it.

The next chapter of Memphis Weirdos is going to be just that, weird.

  • Later this evening, the playlist for todays broadcast will come out and if there aren’t any technical issues, a stream of the broadcast will be available. After today, streams are going away and the shortwave broadcasts will be just that, actual broadcasts. When I started broadcasting my friend Debi suggested I stream as well. It was easier to raise money for the show if people in Memphis could hear it. But the truth is, Memphis Weirdos isn’t produced for a Memphis audience, it is produced for an international audience via shortwave radio. So, I am returning to shortwave only, after today. When time permits, I will get back to the podcasts, which will be streamed. And I’ve got some great guests lined up for that.
