SHITTY UPKEEP

I haven’t kept up with this site like I thought I would. I mostly post info on Instagram. Anyway- here are the bands I have played on the radio show lately- Limes, Optic Sink, Rock City, Recent Future, Model Zero, The Satyrs, The Cramps, Aquarian Blood, Chris Bell, Big Star, Lost Sounds, Alex Chilton, Grifters, Nots, Neon Glittery, The Marilyns, On and Ohn, Elvis Presley, Hash Redactor, Calculated X, Sweet Knives, Alicja Pop and Turnt.

Will you play our band?

Maybe. Send me an mp3 of your music. I don’t care about the quality of the recording. If it feels great sonically, I may play it. Other than that, I keep up with bands on Instagram and GONER and Shangri La here in Memphis and buy stuff on Bandcamp.

How can I listen to Memphis Weirdos?

Shortwave radio. I don’t stream. I used to and it was a pain the ass. The show airs every Tuesday on 15770 kHz at 1630 UTC. WRMI. You may be able to hear it in the United States.
