Mike Mccarthy is a Memphis filmmaker, artist, musician, dad, writer, and sculptor. A champion for the often overlooked and sometimes absurd, Mike is a guiding light who rallys with his visions to ultimately make Memphis a better place. 

It is impossible to offer an accurate view of Memphis music without including Lorette Velvette. Reared in Savannah, Tennessee, she migrated to Memphis as a teen and quickly found her way into the local underground arts scene.
